Promatrix 106FC is designed for label and packaging work that requires decorative finishing and die cutting in post-press production. These post press machines are used for hot foil embossing on paper-based packaging, adding metallic foil effects and raised details to labels, folding cartons, cosmetic boxes, food packaging, and other printed packaging products. When a job also requires cutting, Promatrix 106FC can be used as a die cutter, with optional stripping to remove waste after the cutting process.

Features
Non-stop Feeder
- The suction head feeds paper, board, and corrugated board into Promatrix 106FC with stable sheet pickup.
- Quick positioning helps operators adjust the suction head faster when changing jobs.
- The pile platform uses motorized side alignment to keep the sheet stack in the correct feeding position.
- Mechanical double-sheet detection reduces the risk of two sheets entering the line at the same time.
Feeding Table
- The register system helps position each sheet before it moves into the platen press.
- Pull/push side lays are available on both the operator side and drive side to ensure flexible sheet alignment.
- The suction belt table keeps sheets flat and controlled as they move through the feed table.
- Rollers and brushes are adjusted from one central point, which makes feed table setup easier and keeps the settings more consistent.
- Four front lays with optical monitoring help confirm that each sheet is correctly positioned before entering the press section.
- Thanks to the ultrasonic double-sheet detection it's possible to prevent double sheet feeding before the sheet enters the press section.
Die Cutting Section
- The registration system keeps each sheet in the correct position before cutting or foil stamping.
- Operators can adjust the cutting pressure by motor, depending on the material and the type of job.
- Upper and lower tools are opened and locked pneumatically, which makes setup and tool change easier
- Fine adjustment of the cutting plate gives operators better control when setting the cutting position.
- An air cushion makes the cutting plate easier to move during setup and changeover.
- Optional chase changer can be added for faster tool preparation between jobs.
Hot Foil Unit
- Promatrix 106FC has 3 longitudinal foil feeding shafts and 2 transverse foil feeding shafts for different foil layouts.
- Optional hologram device can be used for jobs that require holographic foil effects.
- 20 heating zones give operators more control over stamping temperature for different foils and materials.
- Telescopic foil feeding bars make foil setup more flexible across the sheet width.
- Equipped with motorized brush devices to collect waste foil after stamping and to keep the foil area cleaner during operation.
- Can be equipped with an optional rewinder for foil waste collection and handling.
Delivery Section
- The non-stop delivery belt keeps sheets moving out of the delivery section without stopping the hot foil stamping.
- Pneumatic flaps allow operators to remove test sheets for quality checks without stopping production.
- Brake brush power can be adjusted by motor to control sheet delivery more accurately.
Hot Foil Control System
- The hot foil computer system calculates foil feeding steps according to the stamping layout.
- Operators can adjust temperature and cutting pressure through the system according to job needs.
